SMS Terms
These terms govern the FreshRateHub text message program. By opting in you agree to them. Please read them, and keep a copy if it is useful to you.
Program name
FreshRateHub Home Value Updates.
What we send
If you opt in, FreshRateHub sends you updates about the home value report you built on this Site. That means:
- A notice when your report has been recalculated, with a link to it
- A notice when your estimated value or estimated equity has changed
- Periodic summaries of how home values have moved in your ZIP code area
We do not send offers for loans, credit, or financial products of any kind, and we do not send messages on behalf of anyone else. Every message identifies FreshRateHub as the sender.
How to opt in
You opt in on this Site by entering your mobile number and actively checking the consent box next to it. The box is never checked for you. The exact wording you agree to is:
I agree to receive home value and equity update texts from FreshRateHub at the mobile number provided. Up to 4 msgs/month. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of using FreshRateHub. See our SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.
You can opt in from the text alerts page or from your report page after you build a report. We store the wording above, the date and time, and the IP address the consent came from, as the record of your opt-in.
Message frequency
Up to 4 msgs/month. Recurring messages may be sent. Frequency depends on how often the underlying house price index is updated and how much your estimate moves.
Cost
FreshRateHub does not charge you for these messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and your carrier.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message at any time. We will send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and then no further messages will be sent. You can also unsubscribe on our opt-out page or by emailing us. To start again, opt in again on the Site.

Consent is not a condition
Agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of using FreshRateHub or of anything else. You can build a report, view it, and return to it later without ever giving us a phone number.
Carriers
The program is supported on major United States wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to transmission limits and to your carrier's systems.
Privacy
Your information is handled under our Privacy Policy. As stated in the mobile information section:
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Changes
We may update these SMS Terms. The current version is always the one posted on this page, with the date it took effect at the top.
